The products currently listed on my site are all part of my Heritage Collection. This collection is the culmination of years of work and a desire to produce high end leather goods that will look great and function well for many years to come. They feature hand sewn and hand finished details for refined aesthetics and durability.
As you might imagine, the process of developing such products takes time. First, a comprehensive design concept needs to be formed and fine-tuned. Next, I draft my initial design on paper or illustrator programs. Then comes creating a functional prototype, which will go through extensive testing. After this preliminary period, alterations are made and dies ordered to allow each piece of a product to be cut accurately and precisely. Finally, materials are ordered and production can begin.
Due to this lengthy process, the products currently listed on this site only represent a portion of what will be an expansive Heritage Collection. This and future blog posts will preview items that will be released in the coming weeks and months.
Soon To Be Released
At the time of posting, a vertical wallet called the Riptide will be my first new release. They will have four card pockets, two hidden pockets for cash and will fold vertically for easy and compact storage. Like many of my products, they will be made with full grain Italian vegetable tanned leather and hand sewn with a French linen thread. Initially, one color style will be available with customized options offered upon request. I personally carried the original prototype around for five months and couldn't be happier with its functionality and durability. It even developed a richer patina than any similar wallet I've carried to date. The photo below is a sneak peek of the final design, which will be released this weekend.
In the near future, items such as pen cases and additional wallets will be added to the collection. Development takes time, but a few should products will become available by the end of the year. Bags, various accessories and potentially even small batches of watch bands are also on the horizon. Stay tuned.
